Did They or Didn't They?

In a further update to the case of the masterpieces stolen from the Kunsthal gallery and potentially destroyed, lawyers for the accused now claim that the paintings have not been destroyed and could be handed back to the Dutch authorities.

The reports vary, however it seems that accused are hoping to use the paintings to in some way broker a deal with the court.

The court in Bucharest, where the trial of those accused is taking place, has presently adjourned the case until 10 September 2013. This is reportedly to allow certain several issues to be further examined.
