Our late birthday celebration event on Thursday 24 May can now be updated with the names of our lovely speakers. Entertaining us will be:
Claudia Dilley
Claudia is a graduate of the Courtauld Institute of Art and has worked for Christie's, London since 2004. She manages the commercial side of her departments, overseeing business strategy and client development. She works closely with the Christie's in-house legal team and will be talking to us about the crossover between her commercial work and the world of art law.
Simon Stokes
Simon is a partner at Blake Lapthorn. He heads the firm's art law practice and is the author of several books including Artist's Resale Right: Law and Practice (Institute of Art and Law) Most recently he launched the second edition of his book Art and Copyright (Hart Publishing), which was reviewed by A&A here. He is one of the leading authorities on copyright law in the UK.

The donation: Dr Johnson's House is very kindly letting us host this event for free but we would be very grateful if all attendees could give a minimum donation of £3 on the night to support this fantastic institution.
